What I Wore - Style Loft ♥

 | *Eva Cami Long Back Top - £14.00 - Style Loft - Link -| White Chiffon Skirt - Missguided | Wedges - Barrats | Chunky Necklace - Jane Norman |

Today when this goes up live I will be at my friends engagement party in Preston celebrating, my husband is doing stand up comedy at their party in front of everyone for the first time and I'm hoping it goes well for him, he'd love to be a comedian one day - so you never know darren chadderton could be a future name.

Today's outfit features this gorgeous cami long back top which was kindly sent to me by Style Loft, if you haven't heard of them before, Style Loft are an online ladies clothing boutique who stock some beautiful clothing in the latest styles and trends ensuring that you won't be seen on a night out or in the day in the same outfit as anyone else - I don't know about you but their is nothing worse than being on a night out and seeing lots of other girls in the same outfit as you.

Their prices are affordable which means you can look stylish without the designer price tag,
They recently popped some new pieces up this week on their online shop which I am already lusting over, especially this Sarah Crepe Festival Dress - Link.

This Eva Long Back Cami can be worn in a few different ways, two of which I have featured in this outfit of the day post, you could wear this cami with skinny jeans for a more casual look or with wet look leggings and heels for a night out, I decided to choose a look that can be worn during the day and also the night for this lovely weather we have had  a lot of recently.

I bought this skirt last year from missguided because I knew it would be so versatile, its perfect for wear during the day, You can wear this Eva Long Back Cami over the top pf this skirt so you can see the back detail, or you can simply tuck it into this skirt - both which I think look nice.
Throw some wedges on and add some sunglasses and your ready to go.

What do you think of this outfit - Are you going to visit Style Loft?

My Personalised Kindle Case From "Wrappz" ♥

*Wrappz Kindle HD Fire 7 Case - Wrapzz - £26.95 - Link

I absolutely love my Kindle Fire and I take it most places with me, but what I love about it even more now, is my case - I received this swivel faux leather case from Wrappz,
Wrappz are an online website that sells personalised phone cases, leather cases, mobile phone skins, photo cushions, mugs and other personalized gifts which are a perfect gift idea if your stuck on what to buy someone.

The web site is quite straightforward, you click on product you want from the drop down boxes at the top, whether it is a leather case or a phone skin you can then select your phone, iPad kindle model or you can click on the picture links below the slideshow banner and choose your device that way too.
The designing process is quite easy, to upload your photo you just simply upload your chosen photo from your computer, or you can choose an image from the Wrappz gallery if you can't think of an image to upload.

You have the option to crop your image before uploading, and then once it has uploaded you drag and drop your chosen image onto the template of your design so you can position the photo exactly how you want it to look, you also have the option to add text.
Also, you can also make your photos black and white or sepia by clicking the effects icon on the template.

You are guided through designing your product step-by-step with the help of a tutorial video if you need it.
At the end you have the option to preview your product so you can see the finished result before clicking the add to cart option.

The checking out process was also quite simple, all you have to do is fill in your address and payment details before your order is then processed.

I ordered my case on a Wednesday night and it came by Friday, so delivery is very quick, especially if this is a last minute present idea.

I picked one of my favourite wedding photo's as my kindle case cover, I wanted a photo that made me smile each time I picked my kindle up,  the finished design was perfect and exactly how I wanted it to look, the quality was also exceptional, I'm not a big fan of cheap looking cases that don't even stand up right, this one on the other hand swivels so you can read your books or watch your movies while lay down and it has a piece of velcro attached to ensure it doesn't fall down which I have never had on any of my kindle cases.
There is also an elasticated band that you can wrap round your kindle when it is not in use.

Overall I would recommend this website if you want to buy a personalized case for yourself or someone, I am actually buying my granddad a leather phone case from here for his birthday next month because he's after a good quality phone case for his new phone and I want to get it personalized with his wedding photo, I know he would love that.

Use the voucher code - freeskin to receive a free personalized phone skin for you phone when you visit the website, all you need to do is pay for your postage which isn't much.

Happy Easter - What I Wore - A Day At Fletcher Moss ♥

| Blouse - Pop Couture - Vintage | Floral Skinny Jeans - £6.00 - H&M - Link -| Nail Polish - Models Own Hyper Gel - Cornflower Gleam |

Last Sunday when the sun was shining, my husband and I decided to go out for the day and enjoy the sunshine, we decided to visit this park that was near us in Didsbury called Fletcher Moss,

I decided to wear these sandals I received from Shoe Zone a few weeks ago, I have been waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer so I could finally wear these.
They are a nude colour with a small wedge which makes them perfect for every day wear whilst giving you a little bit of height, the fasten easily with a zip at the back - the nude colour means I can wear these with a lot with my summer outfits this year - I just need to purchase the black pair now.

I also wore my new floral skinny jeans I got online from H&M in the sale for only £6.00, I wanted them when they were full price, but I wasn't sure what I could wear these with, the half price tag helped sway that decision, I have quite a few plain camisole tops I can pair with these in the future.
The weather was a little chilly when the sunshine went in so I bought my H&M biker jacket to wear on top of this spiked collar chiffon blouse which I got from Pop Couture last year.

I decided to give my toes a splash of colour and painted them with "Model's Own Hyper Gel" nail polish in "Cornflower Gleam" its such a gorgeous shade for summer - I do love the new Hyper Gel Polishes by Models I Own, I just find my finger nails chip to easily at the moment so I can't paint  them as much at the moment.

We walked round the gardens and appreciated the pretty flowers that were in full bloom, the tulips were stunning, there were so many, I snapped a lot of photos.

You may have noticed I have been popping an outfit post up every Sunday now, I am now trying to post at least one outfit post up a week on my blog, now the sunshine's out more too I can hopefully shoot pictures in better locations than our flat living room.

Happy Easter Today Everyone!!!

The Beauty Blogger Tag ♥

* Miner's Summer Collection

Happy Good Friday - I am so jealous of everyone who gets to have this long weekend off, my only full day off will be Sunday this week, but at least I get to eat chocolate.
I was recently tagged by Laura from Laura's All Made Up Beauty, Nails, Fashion Blog to participate in the "The Beauty Blogger Tag" her blog is one of my favourites because she takes really lovely pictures and her writing style makes me really love reading her blog, so thank you for the tag Laura,

Why did you start blogging and how long have you been blogging for?
I started this little place on the web because I wanted somewhere to share the things I loved such as make up products and clothing that I was lusting over that moment in time, I had no idea how big the blogging world actually was.

I started my blog in February 2011 so it's been over three years now and my blog has grown in ways I would never have imagined, and I love writing here.

Whose blog did you fall in love with first?
I feel a little behind when I say this because I didn't really discover many blogs when I started blogging, I never realized how big of a community it was until I got out there and discovered new blogs, Rachel Crawfords blog "Zoella's blog about two years ago and I love hers.

What was the first blogosphere hyped about product that you bought? Was it worth the hype?
It was most likely the Models Own nail polishes, I knew nothing about them before I started this blog and they were a product I really wanted to buy, I'm still a big nail polish fan now, I think they were worth the hype because they have some gorgeous colours in the range, they have continued to amaze me with their new ideas and collections they release.

What are your five favourite things about blogging and being a Beauty Blogger?
1. Blogging about my favourite brands, I love nothing more than raving about the product I love most at the minute, I love hearing what people's thoughts are and what they too think of the product I have blogged about too.
2. Trying new product- always a reason to go shopping and buy something when its on offer- when I see a product I love on another blog I am always so tempted to go out and buy it too, especially if it's a favourite brand of mine.
3. Being the first to learn about new releases, before the blogging world I used to find out about new product releases in magazines, but now I always find out via my favourite beauty blogs.
4. Getting the opportunity to test out products for review, this is a bonus with blogging and I never in a million years thought I'd have been sent anything to review when I started blogging, but I have had the opportunity to do this and it's always exciting when I get to trail so a brand I have never tried before.
5. Testing out new looks I would never have tried before - before I started blogging I was scared to try lipstick because I never thought I could pull it off, let alone the colour red - fast forward three years, I am now a proud owner of about roughly 30 lipsticks in an array of pinks, reds and oranges.

What have you learnt from being a Beauty Blogger?
How to choose the right products for you skin, I used to think many foundations did the same thing, I never knew there were specific types of foundation for different types of skin, I never knew primer existed and I definitely changed the way I applied my make up, I don't wear as much and I have learned new ways in which to apply my make up - I couldn't even shape my eyebrows properly two years ago.

Have you changed anything since becoming a Beauty Blogger?
Yes a lot has changed when it comes to applying make up, I use the right make up for my skin type, I use a moisturizer day and night, and I definitely wear less eyeliner and eye make up now, I also either wear lipsticks or lip balms on a daily basis now and I'm more confident in trying out something new.

What advice would you give to a Beauty Blogger just starting out?
 1. Be honest - when your writing about a product honesty is the best policy, I want to read what others think about a product whether it is worth the hype or not.
2. Use big clear photos, not only do they make reading a post more visually interesting, I'm more likely to read a post that has clear photos so I can actually see what the product looks like in real life, think of ways you can make your photos look more interesting, add props, let your personality shine through your pictures.
3. Blog about the products you love not the ones you feel like you need to because everyone else is, I always love reading about a brand new brand I haven't discovered before instead of about 20 reviews on the same lipstick that's just come out.
4. This one also relates to the above- keep your posts unique - you want a reason for bloggers to visit your blog, think of ways you can incorporate your favourite products in monthly or weekly posts, review your top five, there are so many ways you can write a post.
5. Most importantly - write about what YOU want to write about, it's your blog, your place and you can write about whatever the hell you want.

What are your top 5 makeup brands
1. Rimmel
2. Bourjois
3. Clinque
4. Miners
5. 17

Recommend your top 5 beauty products:
1. Benefit They're Real Mascara
2. Clinique Chubby Stick in Curvy Candy
3. 17 Miracle Matte Powder
4. Rimmel BB Cream Matte

Burts Bees New Lip Range: Tinted Lip Colour & Lips Shines ♥

* Hint Of Sheer Colour - £5.99

This is my second post in this installment - you can see the first part of this post here - link - I have been loving these Hint Of Sheer Colour tinted balms by Burts Bee's new range.
My favorite has been pink blossom and its been a fab everyday essential for adding sheer lip colour to my every day made up look.
These lip balms are available in nine wearable shades for everyday wear, they are subtle when applied, leaving you with a enhanced natural lip colour, enriched with vitamin E and shea butter they glide on your lips for a gorgeous pout whilst leaving your lips moisturized.
The packaging in the tube is very quirky and they are the perfect size to pop in your pocket or clutch bag,
I have been a huge fan of tinted lip colour lip balms recently, they have been replacing my favourite lipsticks,
but these by Burts Bee's might happen to be my favorite of them all at the moment.

*100% Natural Lips Shines - £6.99

This product is Burts Bee's Natural Lip Shine these glosses are 100% natural, giving you sheer glossy lips whilst also hydrating on the go, I find I don't tend to wear a lot of lip glosses because I find some formulas far to sticky for my liking but these are nothing like that, they feel quite nourishing and my lips definitely felt a lot softer after wearing this all day, they also taste yummy.
The key ingredients in these glosses are Apricot Kernel Wax Blend, Sunflower Polyglycerides, Bees Wax, Shea & Cocoa Butter and they smell of a lovely apricot fragrance which makes these very appealing.
The packaging is a squeezable tube with a slanted tip applicator for easy application, the colour I pictured here is a lovely pale pink colour which is perfect for those who like a natural every day made up look.
They are available in six other pretty shades for this spring/summer.

You can buy these products online at Burts Bee's -Link-

1. Living near such a gorgeous place - Fletcher Moss is a lovely park in Didsbury where they have these stunning botanical gardens with walkways, its like a secret garden, me and my husband went up because the weather was sunny and we had a romantic walk around and I picked this opportunity to feature some lovely wedges I got from Shoe zone and some floral skinny jeans from H&M in a few outfit posts so keep a look out for this post coming this Sunday in an OOTD post.

2. Visiting the set of Coronation Street last Monday - - I absolutely love corrie so you can say it was pretty high on my list to visit the set and get a photo outside the Rovers Return Inn.

3. Winning two competitions - I recently got back into the swing or comping this week and won two competitions, I won an eyebrow kit including stencils and pencils and powder on Twitter from Monu Shop and I won a item of clothing from Karma Clothing over on Facebook, its a surprise so I'm not sure what I'm going to receive in the post which is exciting.

4. Visiting my grandad, I went up on the Saturday at the weekend to visit him before he goes away at Easter, he gave me an Easter egg and some thorntons goodies, I may be 25 but I still get spoilt with chocolate every Easter, it was also nice to have a catch up with him too because he had got back from Goa a few weeks ago so it was exciting hearing about what he got up to when he went to visit his stepson's who are travelling in Sri Lanka at the moment.

5. Seeing a few of my girls on the Friday, its always nice to have a catch up when I haven't seen them for a month or so, I also treated myself to a new Ted Baker bag too so that was also a reason to smile - ts not often I get to treat myself.

What I Wore - Blue Gingham ♥

| Blue Gingham Blouse - £10.00 - Primark | Blue Skinny Jeans - £15.00 - Primark | *Nude Pumps - £9.99 - tReds - Link |

Hey lovelies I can't believe its Sunday already, this weekend has passed again in a blur.
Today's outfit of the day post is what I wore yesterday, I picked up this cute gingham top in my local Primark on Friday as soon as I saw it I had to have it, gingham isn't a print I really thought I'd ever like, it kind of takes me back to the school days when I used to wear a blue gingham summer dress, buuuut I saw this top and just loved the style of it with the peter pan collar, it was only £10.00 - I'm not sure if that is to expensive for a top like this from Primark - I'm sure their prices keep creeping up but its definitely a lot cheaper than what you would pay in some shops - I'd absolutely love it if they made it in a pink colour too, they did have it in black though but I didn't really like that colour, it fastens with a little button at the back.
I received these cute little pumps this week from tReds - they are an online shop who stock well known brands of clothing and shoes and their own brand also" tReds" they have some lovely shoes in their range and it was hard to settle on one pair, I ended up choosing these cute "Jacey Nude Pumps" now the weather is getting is little warmer I can tuck my boots away to the back of the cupboard and start wearing flats again.
Because they are a nude colour they will go with quite a lot of every day outfits, they also have lovely gem beading attached on the front which makes them quite unique, I haven't really seen a pair of shoes that look like these before and they are so comfy - I wore them for half a day.
I decided to keep this outfit quite pastel, I seem to be loving mints, lilacs, baby blues and pinks at the moment,
I treated myself to this Ted Baker bag on the Friday too, I love Ted Bakers little shopper bags and they are the perfect size to fit all my little bits and pieces in too, I already have one I got for Christmas but I really wanted a mint one coloured one too so I thought why the hell not.
Lastly I wore these jeans I got in February from Primark, there quite a lovely blue shade so they are perfect to wear with some of my lighter coloured tops, I do love my skinny jeans and these are normally my go to for every day wear with cami's and blouses in the Spring.

Do you like this outfit?
How would you style it?

Batiste Smoothing Dry Conditioning Mist & Batiste Strength & Shine Dry Shampoo ♥

| *Batiste Smoothing Conditioner Mist - Link - £3.99|

I was quite excited to try the new range from Batiste when they popped though my letter box,
I was especially intrigued by the new Smoothing Conditioning Mist because I haven't used anything like it before.
When I used this conditioning mist, I thought it was really light and the spray was invisible, I was quite surprised when I sprayed it onto my ends a day after shampooing my hair, I was expecting it to come out white, but the spray was clear.

Batiste say their smoothing conditioning mist is infused with Argon Oil which helps your hair feel a bit more softer, especially if like me you have long hair which sometimes frizzes when you go outside and get caught up in the rain leaving you with dry ends, I love my hair when it's just been freshly washed so I'm glad they have bought this product out for the days when I do actually want to skip a day of shampooing my hair and I don't have to worry about getting dry ends that sometime come with it - it smells lovely too - A quick spray in your mid lengths when dry shampooing your root's helps nourish and smooth your ends.

Batiste have also bought out a new Strength & Shine Dry Shampoo - This is for those who style their hair often with heat or if they have week and brittle hair, this dry shampoo is enriched with L'Argentine, which is an Amino Acid that stimulates your hair follicles giving you stronger healthier looking hair.

I couldn't really tell a major difference with this dry shampoo because my hair isn't really that weak, I try and straighten it every other day, but this is one for you to try if you want stronger hair.
It did do the job of giving me nice shiny hair in between washes.

Both are available to buy at Boots at the moment.

Have you tried this NEW RANGE YET??
