Check Mate ♥

| Sainsbury's Check Bowling Bag - £16.99 - Link |

I've never really shopped for clothing in Supermarkets till recently, I always go to George @ Asda for my pyjamas and homewear when I do my monthly food shop and occasionally something will catch my eye and end up in my trolley.
Imagine my surprise when this A/W I have found myself exploring the Sainsbury's TU clothing range and I came across some lovely pieces, not to mention their bag range, I've already spotted a few more items I want come payday.
This tartan/check trim faux leather bag is on trend and in store only £16.99 it caught my eye straight away, there was no arguments with myself when I went to the till, I simply had to have it - I also bought the very last one in my store so I can tell these have sold fast.
Big enough to carry your every day essentials, and with two ways to carry it, this bowling bag is very versatile.
I plan on wearing mine with my faux leather jacket and tartan scarf for the upcoming months - I'm completely head over heels for the tartan/check trend again this year and I know I'm not the only one.

Have you ever shopped the Sainsbury's TU clothing range??

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream ♥

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream - £9.99 - Boots.

I bought this product because Bourjois had an offer on, it was buy one get one half price in Superdrug, I needed a new light foundation for my holidays so I decided to buy this Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream.
Being a huge fan of BB creams, I couldn't wait to give this a go,
I'm not blessed with naturally clear skin, I have an oily T-zone which causes me to have problems with pesky spots, especially at that certain time of the month and I have red areas on my face where my skin is healing, not forgetting dark spots where a spot once was.

Bourjois CC cream is a colour perfecting foundation with 3 different coloured pigments, Apricot, Green and White, these three colours help smooth out anti - fatigue, anti - redness and anti- dark spots giving you healthy glowing skin that stays hydrated for up to 24 hours, there's even an added SPF15 which made it even more ideal for my holiday too.

I'm still using this CC cream now a month later, its almost all gone but its easily lasted me nearly two months, that included all of my 2 weeks on holiday too - I used it every evening.
I found it was fantastic at disguising my sun burnt nose which happened after wearing my sunnies out in the sun for too long - oooops - it hid any dark circles under my eyes and dark spots on my face.
This CC cream also helped to warm up my skin tone a bit more too and it was also really light to wear, a little goes a long way with this product.

I'd absolutely buy this again, I think I may even buy another tube once I have finished this one because it works so well with my skin.
Because of my oily T-zone I'm sometimes a bit wary of some foundations that are to oily but this one is really hydrating and I found it helped my skin stay shine free - shame it doesn't prevent those pesky spots though.

This photo taken below is a picture from our most recent holiday to Lanzarote - completely untouched, you can see how fantastic this CC cream really is at giving you healthy glowing skin.

Have you tried this CC Cream by Bourjois??
What did you think?

Love 4 Boots - My Tops 5 Winter Picks ♥

| 1. Steve Madden Brown Ankle Boots - £110.00 | 2. Anna Field Black Ankle Boots - £25.00 | 3. Pier One Beige Ankle Boots - £65.00| 4. Tosca Blu Black Ankle Boots - £120.00| 5. Sir Oliver Grey Ankle Boots £75.00 |

With Autumn & Winter finally here in full swing as of this week - the clocks go back this weekend eeek - its finally time to update my wardrobe with some new boots.
I have been window shopping on SPM Boots and picking out my favourite must have's for this A/W,- who doesn't love a wishlist right??
I do love my boots with a heel and funnily enough A/W is probably the only time you will see me in heels more a less every day, boots always feel so much more comfortable as apposed to heels, no idea why - maybe because I don't tend to almost break my neck in them.

What do you think of my current must have's??
Do you prefer high heeled boots to flats??

Our First Wedding Anniversary In Lanzarote ♥

My reason for absence on here has been partly because I went on holiday almost three weeks ago and since I got back I have been so busy trying to get back into the swing of everything - including blogging.
I think a months break was well earned.
This post is quite photo heavy so I apologise, I just couldn't choose between photos.

We went to Lanzarote for two weeks to celebrate our first wedding anniversary together and also to have a break, we stayed in a lovely part of Lanzarote called Playa Blanca, the beaches were golden and our hotel "Iberostar Papagayo" was located right next to the sea so we had an a amazing view every day to look out on.

Our hotel was a 30 minute walk each day to the main beaches and shops and 15 minutes away from the most stunning marina I have ever seen, we did the 30 minute walk most nights after we had eaten dinner and the sun was just setting.
I'll miss these walks the most, because the sky was always an array of beautiful colours, you will see at the bottom of this post exactly what I'm talking about.

You will also see the top photo above this post, for those wondering who took that, we had a photography session with a photographer from our hotel who captured lots of natural shots of us having fun to celebrate "our first year together" it was a lovely way to remember this holiday.

I fell in love with Lanzarote the second time round I came here, I'd previously been with my parents 10 years ago and it just seemed so much more different than when I last came - maybe I appreciate the beauty of places now I'm older and wiser.

The volcanic landscape give this island the its natural beauty, we were really intrigued by the volcano's so we did the Timafaya National Park tour which took us all around the volcanoes with a camel ride for 6 euro's beforehand, if you ever go Lanzarote I'd recommend this trip, it is so interesting - shame our tour guide almost put us to sleep with her voice.

We also did a few other trips while we were here, we hopped on the bus near our hotel and visited Peurto Del Carmen for the day, this was where I stayed previously and it had not changed one bit.
We also sailed over to the other beautiful island of Fuerteventura on the day of our first wedding anniversary,  it was a 40 minute ferry ride for 20 euro's each, I've stayed in Corralejo twice already so I knew where to go and I even visited the two hotels I'd stayed in previously, it was fun exploring the island as it had been 8 years since I'd last been, we even fitted in some sunbathing and shopping.
We finished our night with a romantic meal at The Aphrodite Little Italy restaurant at the marina, the food was incredible and it was always fully booked so you can imagine it does well - I'd recommend that restaurant to you if you are going or ever visit Playa Blanca.

Above is a stunning photo I took on my camera phone of one of the sunsets we had the pleasure of watching, I took many photo's, the view was just so breath taking, definitely one of my all time favourite holiday photos - aren't sunsets amazing.

We had a fantastic holiday here and we'll definitely be visiting again, I'll let all of my photos do the rest of the talking.

Have you been to Lanzarote??
Where did you stay??
