I saw this blog post on Rachel Crawfords blog "Life Of A Sweetaholic" I loved reading hers, her cocker spaniel Alfie is so adorable, I just want to steal him.
Anyway I wanted to steal this tag and share more about my kitty cat who makes an appearance on my instagram quite a bit, I wish I wrote about him on here more sometimes because he actually is a big part of my life.
What is your pet’s name?
What kind of pet are they and what breed?
He's just your typical ginger short haired tom cat.
How long have you had your pet?
About 3 years and 8 months.
How did you get your pet?
Me and my husband live in a rented flat and we both have always lived with cats growing up, our previous landlord had a strict no pets policy so when we moved after a few months we waited a few months before we asked our current landlord if we could have a cat to keep me company because at that time my husband was working quite late hours, surprisingly he agreed without a problem and at that exact time we were looking, a friend of mine's cat had just had kittens, I was after a ginger and white cat who was a boy and she happened to have one ginger and white boy in her litter, it was almost like it was fate - I had already decided I had wanted him as soon as I saw a photo of him.
How old are they?
He's about 3 years and 10 months - We have had him since he was a kitten.
What are some quirky things about your pet’s personality?
Where shall I start......
I'm sure he thinks he's a dog, he likes to play fetch and bring his ball/wrapper to you, he has this little teddy that is a dog that he takes everywhere with him, even to bed at night when we go to bed.
He won't drink out of a bowl, only the bath or the sink from the tap, and its almost like you can have a conversation with him sometimes except all he can do is meow, he's extremely vocal.
And he has this ability to look and act all cute to get anything he wants - which works 99% of the time.
What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
He's my little baby, he's always there when I'm not well, one weekend, he spent the whole weekend in bed with me when I was so ill with the flu,the only time he left my side was to eat, now that's loyalty.
He's so cuddly and he loves cuddles and its almost like he can sense when I'm upset, he likes to just come and sit with you, that always makes me feel better - I couldn't imagine having any other cat.
What are some of your favourite past times with your pet?
There is to many, he just makes me laugh so much, all the things he does, but my favourite time will always be when we first got him as a kitten, he spent his first night asleep on top of my head, he was soooo tiny.
I also love playing with him cause he's so playful and he knows when its all a game, stalking you is probably his favourite all time game.
What are nicknames that you call your pet?
His little husky dog, my dad bought it me back from a holiday and for some reason Jimjam took a liking to it and now 4 years later he still carries it round in his mouth everyday and goes to sleep with it.
Quality street wrappers also happen to be favourites of his.
I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I loved writing about my little furry baby, let me know if you do this tag and link me - I'd love to read yours.
